Every
person needs a passport, still valid 6 months after the trip.
Successful passport applications take two months in South
Africa. South Africans obtain tourism visa's at the Namibian
border posts, no cost involved. All vehicles will need a ZA
sticker(obtained from the AA) and vehicle registration
information. Temporary import cost: Vehicles R120, Trailers
R80. The Vioolsdrift Border Post are open 24 hours. Remember
to bring your own pen to the border post.
